I went to the Moon today.
it’s pretty and cold…and has lots of food and drinks and is very balinese and is quirky in it’s own ways. it also had lots of extremely artistic moon men and women. it’s situated on jalan imbi.
Kidding.
i went to MoonFX today for an offline with the client. Ive never been there before but it is so pretty. feels like you’re in another land there. working in another land. on computers doing things people can only do on computers like make people fly and make drawings come to life. how appropriate.
with quirky artworks and sculptures and structure of the little bungalow turned office, it’s really pretty. everything in there is a work of art. from it’s staircases to it’s chairs and tables made to order, to it’s kettles and plates and computers all personalized. what a nice artistic place to work. if i ever had a studio one day, i would want it to be like that. and so quaint and comfy and cozy. i like.
couldn’t take many pics as i was too busy working and tyring to get people to understand what we are trying to say. but it is a great expereince. plus they have a mini lunch area where people cook them lunch and serve them coke and coffee and ice lemon tea. i mean…talk about great work life. and the area around the office have food places we’ve heard people rave about all our lives. like the best curry chicken in KL and the place to get the best hainaese coffee and toast with kaya and a thick slice of butter or the place with the best yong tau foo. it’s all within walking distance. so cool. and near pavilion and eden and bangkok jazz.
wish i could work at a pretty place like that. inspiration is like at every corner. unlike offices where you feel like a stranger in your own cubicle. i came back to a mass of bad vibes and lots of screams and anger. which i will skip, fast forward or rewind and go back to reliving me sitting on the desk at MFX surrounded by pretty paintings, sculptures and a grand antique door waiting for me to walk through.
